Jail or free-wheeling inbreeding

First off, I'd like to say that I'm sorry for not updating very regularly. I can't blog at work, and I don't have computer access at the apartment.

So today was the second wedding shower and OH MY GOSH!

My car is completely full of stuff. Matt's family, particularly Mrs. Vicky, put this thing together. It was great. Good food, quite a few people, and TONS of gifts. We got so many gifts that we had to go back and add to the registry so that my parents' church would have stuff to buy. It was 14 pages printed off to begin with! :)

So that was great. I'm very excited and thankful!

I'm also excited because this Thursday evening we will be taking the drive down to Tampa to see my family. My mom says it will be a surprise filled weekend. I can't wait. I haven't been back since July. I miss my Tampa friends and my family. I've been homesick for my mom, dad and sister a lot lately.

Ok, sorry this was just factual and boring, but I thought I'd update!

Some things I learned this weekend:

1. The Fabulous Fox truly is fabulous. So were the seats we had for Nickel Creek/Old Crow Medicine Show.

2. Town festivals are more fun when you have a fiance who will walk around with you, be sweet to you and who insists on purchasing you things!

3. The Dahlonega Gold Rush Festival has no caramel apples worth eating. The caramel is hard, and the apples are mushy.

4. When Iris throws a shower, the food is great and the presents rock!
