Jail or free-wheeling inbreeding

The candy man can 'cause he mixes it with love and makes the world taste gooooood.....

So I know it's been a while, but life gets busy, and fun things fall by the wayside!

A little update:

School has started. I LOVE my new position. I do not love being picked on for my last name. Of course, it is probably just a preemptive strike based on the fact that I have a last name like I do, and teach special ed. I told them to call me "Mrs. W" :)

My school is awesome. My biggest class has six students. I think this is going to be a great year. The people there rock. About six or seven people stopped by Friday to check on me and make sure that my day was going well.

Friday evening Matt, Jana, Wayne and I got to hang out with the ex-pat we all know and love, Johnny Rob. He's in town for a few weeks.

We all started to go see Talladega Nights, but it was SOLD OUT. I'm not talking one showing, I'm talking ALL showings. Welcome to the south. John, Matt and I saw it Saturday instead. Hilarious movie. Will Ferrell is a very believable redneck.

Also, John, Matt and I built a bear. I wanted to do it for a while, and Matt wanted to take me. So we thought it would be funny to just go in, the three of us, and build one together, not explaining ourselves. Hehe. It's fun to mess with people's heads.

Anywho, if you've never done this, you should. You pick it out, stuff it, put a heart (Or three in our case) in it, rub the heart on your head, nose, knees and tummy to help it have certain attributes, then you kiss it and yell, "I love my bear".

Yeah, I think we got some looks. I bought a sweater and some "Bearkinstocks" (I thought of that one) on it and named him, "Sammy Davis, Jr., Jr." He roars at you when you squeeze his hand.

Fun times.

Last weekend Fawn, Andy and Sneed came up. I gave the guys haircuts and we all hung out at Locos. Lots of fun.

I miss having tons of friends around all the time.

Just so everyone knows, you guys are awesome and I miss you all! I think that over the years I've developed some of the best friendships that I could have ever hoped for!

Sorry to get sappy, I just thought I'd give you all the "shout out" that you deserve. Yes, I just said "shout-out". Kill me now. :)
